“CHRONOLOGY” STUDY CENTER

In this first major retrospective in France, Jeu de Paume presents a selection of two hundred photographs that affords an opportunity to explore the origins, scope, and aspirations of a wholly original force in photography. It includes all of the artist’s iconic photographs as well as many that have never been publicly exhibited.

The Diane Arbus exhibition is completed by a «study center»: two rooms where visitors can comfortably seat and spend a moment in reading and leafing through the books about this great photographer.

In collaboration with the Estate of Diane Arbus, I designed and edited the furniture for the study center: the tables with book boxes and lighting, the stools and the benches, they all come as a fully integrated functional system.
